WEEK Number Two

Hot enough for you?

Even though I managed to get to the field 45 minutes late, somehow we ended up on time. Apparently, we are not starting at 3pm like I thought. Oops, sorry.

What a great bunch of games. Holy Rollers dominated. For the first time this year we enacted our “mercy” rule.* But holy shit... BSR had uniforms! Way to step it up, guys.

Apparently, the team to watch this year might just be last year’s Festival of Losers winner, “The Green Barbarian”. I mean... seriously... not only did they beat The Burnsiders last week, but they beat Team Uggh this week! Team Uggh, the unstoppable Gardeners. (Remember, the Umperor is always right)

Zomboree. Wow. Double plays, blood, upsetting the other team... Nice to see the undead can still play even after all these years. Urban Plantain, good show. Welcome to the league, how’s Maddog holding up? He break anything yet?

CBP vs. St Sebastian, two heavyweights in the kickball world. Amazing headlining match, I wish I could remember it. Luckily that is what we have column writers for! Keep your eyes here for articles from the French, the Hillbillies, roving reports from on field correspondents AND MORE!

The PKK STILL Wants You!

Thank you to all who have sent us emails. Here is an update on where we stand with stuff. The bases, scoreboard and Eagle’s nest all have found a home on Brighton Street for this week. The Shakedown has also expressed interest in helping with the bases.

The pickup after the games this week was great. Thank you. Lets keep it up.

Our waterbottles should be in this week. we have enough for 15 per team. These will be passed out this coming couple of weeks along with your shirts.

Finally

Check back later this week for more updates

We will be announcing The PKLPOTW for weeks 1 and 2. Columns will be appearing written by some of the best writers of your generation. Pictures will appear. Minds will be blown.

* The mercy rule is defined as such. When ten runs are scored by either team in any given inning, the team who scored ten runs will not be able to score any more runs, and as such their turn at "bat" ends. The team that has had ten runs scored on them gets last ups.
